Overview

Consisting of two Victorian houses built in 1870 and 1903, Braeside B&B is situated in the heart of Green Point village. These heritage homes have secluded courtyards and braai facilities.

Braeside B&B has elegantly decorated rooms with original Oregon pine floors, high ceilings and white cotton percale linens. All rooms have wardrobes and filter coffee-making facilities.

Both houses have a large communal living room with a fireplace and large sash windows. The courtyards are a quiet place to read, or drink a glass of wine in the evenings, under the flowering bougainvillea.

A rich breakfast buffet is served daily, and an early breakfast can be provided upon request. Guests will find an array of world class restaurants and shops in the nearby area.

Victoria & Alfred Waterfront is 1.9 km, and Clifton Beach is 4.8 km away. You can choose from a variety of activities, including cycling, canoeing, kayaking and rollerblading.

Travel information

Directions from N1/Paarl, N2/ Airport :

- Follow signs to the Waterfront/Sea Point/CTICC to end of raised highway.
- The Cape Town International Convention Centre will be on your left at the traffic lights.
- Stay in the middle lane.
- Take right turn at 3rd set of traffic lights (Somerset Road).
- Follow Somerset Road into Green Point.
- Pass 3 sets of traffic lights.
- After the 3rd traffic light, take 5th turning left - Clyde Road.
- 3rd road on the left is Braeside Road.
- Parking on left of the road (Bays parallel to the road - Bays marked Braeside B&B - Private Parking) and left of staircase of No. 15.

Swimming pool under construction. Construction is due for completion until the first week of December 2011.
